ISSA's Senior Program Manager, Zorica Trikic delivered a training for trainers in Belgrade, Serbia on May 9th-11th, 2017.
The seminar was organized in partnership with the Association for Public Health Serbia, the Institute for Public Health Belgrade and UNICEF Serbia under the project “Support to Early Childhood Development through strengthening capacities of home visiting system and home visiting nurses in Belgrade”.
The group of trainers learned how to implement the ISSA and UNICEF resources for home visitors entitled “Supporting Families for Young Child Wellbeing”.
More than 20 trainers with different professional backgrounds – home visitors, pediatricians, child psychiatrists, social workers, lecturers from medical schools, and representatives of different institutions – attended the sessions. During these welll received trainings, ISSA also provided advice to local partners on how to plan future activities and trainings.
