These Databases of ECD Resources are the result of a partnership project between UNICEF and the International Step by Step Association (ISSA).

The Databases provide rich information about policies, resources and initiatives from Central and Eastern Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CEE/CIS), which guarantee, promote and implement support to young children. In addition to providing details with respect to human, technical and institutional resources in 26 countries of the region, these Databases also include information on relevant policies and legislative frameworks, as well as information on whether these resources are involved in or prepared for emergency response and disaster risk reduction.
ISSA invites all those who use these databases to notify us at issa@issa.hu of gaps or major omissions, and to send suggestions for further updating and expanding the databases. Upon request, forms will be made available to those interested in sending new submissions for the Databases of ECD Resources in CEE/CIS.
