Journal
Educating Children for Democracy is the
professional journal of the International Step
by Step Association.

teaching methods. With articles based on the experiences
of countries in transition, the journal emphasizes
change and educational transformation. It solicits
articles on the challenges, confronting all democracies,
of providing educational experiences necessary
to the continuation of open and free societies.
Educating Children for Democracy is published semi-annually
in English (in print and on-line) and Russian (on-line
only). Articles are reprinted in other professional
