Change in ISSA Board of Directors

Regina Sabaliauskiene will serve as an interim member of the ISSA Board of Directors until elections in October, filling the vacant seat of Vlatka Domovic, who resigned recently.

ISSA would like to take this opportunity to thank Vlatka Domovic for her contributions and support as a member of the ISSA Board of Directors. Ms. Domovic recently resigned her position, due to other commitments. We look forward to Ms. Domovic’s continued involvement in ISSA activities in an advisory capacity.

Given the importance of having a strong voice of the ISSA Council on the Board, the Board decided to fill this vacant seat until the Board Elections in October 2008. Thus, Regina Sabaliauskiene, Executive Director of the Centre for Innovative Education, ISSA’s Council Member in Lithuania, was appointed to serve as an interim board member until the elections, and she has accepted the position. ISSA welcomes Ms. Sabaliauskiene to the board and looks forward to benefiting from her rich experience with ISSA programs and her insights from work with different ISSA national member organizations.
