The theme for the 18th EECERA Annual Conference is Reconsidering the Basics in Early Childhood Education. This theme was chosen to stimulate a critical discussion about how the European early childhood education tradition of today links backwards as well as looks forwards to future perspectives and challenges. The conference is co-hosted by the University of Stavangar, Vestfold University College, and Queen Maud's College of Early Childhood Education.
