Eurochild Members’ Exchange Seminar: Poverty, Social Exclusion and Children without Parental Care: Making the Links

24-26 June 2009 – Prague, Czech Republic

Registration is now open for the Members’ Exchange Seminar on Poverty, Social Exclusion and Children without Parental Care: Making the Links that takes place in Prague on 23rd and 24th June at the Courtyard Marriot Prague Flora.

MES are held annually to facilitate debate and exchange knowledge and experience on specific aspects of child poverty and social exclusion. They feed into Eurochild’s Thematic Working Groups, set up to strengthen Eurochild’s position as a repository of expertise on effective, evidence-based approaches to tackling child poverty and social exclusion. This seminar takes place in the context of Eurochild’s Thematic Working Group on Children without Parental Care.

In advance of the seminar, Eurochild is collecting national data and information on the numbers of children in alternative care, their profile, the outcomes and national policy framework. If you can contribute or know somebody who can, please return your country survey attached to zsofia.bakonyi@eurochild.org.

A limited number of funded places are available.  Please send your registration forms before 23rd April.
