Kinderwelten Anti-Bias Conference, 30 November, Berlin, Germany

Project Kinderwelten would like to share with you the experiences of three years of making and walking the anti-bias road together with the teams of 30 day-care centres in Germany, nearly 3000 children and their families, as well as representatives from the 14 providing organisations. Glenda MacNaughton, CEIEC, University of Melbourne, Australia, and Louise Derman-Sparks, one of the founders of the Anti-Bias-Approach from California, USA, will join the walk on 30  November  to talk about recent developments in their fields, challenges, and successes.  Please register at the website of Kinderwelten (www.kinderwelten.net). Europe Conference Equal Opportunities for All: Citizenship and Human Capital in a Diverse Europe, 28-29 November 2007, The Hague, The Netherlands

This conference is organised by the Netherlands Association of Municipalities and the Council of European Municipalities and Regions. Themes of the conference are among others: citizenship and social cohesion, housing, labour market and migrant enterprise, neighbourhoods, education, child care, youth policies and political and social participation. Second International Conference on Early Childhood Education
