Dr. Nico van Oudenhoven

Photograph of Nico van Oudenhoven Dr. Nico van Oudenhoven is a child psychologist by training. He has worked for Leiden University in the Netherlands, Unesco in Kabul, Unicef in New York and Bernard van Leer Foundation in the Netherlands. He is currently director of ICDI –International Child Development Initiatives- and co-director of ICCYS –International Centre of Child and Youth Studies, both in the Netherlands. His main interest concerns the situation of children in a context of development. He works at the intersection of research, policy making, programme development, NGO capacity building, advocacy and fundraising.
