ISSA Connects: Building your Organization’s Resilience with the Resiliency+ Framework
On November 2, 3, and 4, ISSA is hosting another opportunity to Connect. ISSA Connects for Learning will include three professional development sessions, all free of charge. We asked workshop facilitators to share who their session is for and why you should join.
Flóra Basco, Resiliency+ coach at Partners Hungary Foundation, will co-facilitate a workshop titled Building your Organization's Resilience on 3 November 2021. The session will be interactive and provide tailored insight into resilience-based organizational development.
In the interview below, Flóra shares why the Resiliency+ Framework, which she will present during her session, is relevant and what participants will take away from the 3-hour session.
Why is the Resiliency+ Framework important for organizations?
The Resiliency+ Framework (R+) is a relevant and practical tool that provides a solid structure for supporting Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to gain more confidence in areas where they are already competent and map areas where more support is needed. The Framework helps break down the concept of resilience into several components that guide the user's thinking about using existing resources better and what new measures need to be implemented.
In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, has the Framework become even more relevant? How so?
Due to the restrictions during the pandemic, areas of intervention for CSOs shrank even more. Emergencies within the communities where CSOs work also further depleted energies. The R+ organizational development process acts as a fusion of energy into an exhausted system.
Who should attend this session?
Members of all CSOs are welcome! If multiple individuals from your organization join, you will have the opportunity to support one another after the session.

You will have the opportunity to try out helpful tools to increase your personal resilience. You will also get familiar with the organizational resilience factors within the R+ Framework to help you structure your thinking and start a journey towards a more resilient organization.
