NEWS - UNICEF Shares Mini Parenting Masterclasses

UNICEF continues to add new editions to their enjoyable video series on parenting. In the videos, experts talk about various baby development issues, from the importance of ‘baby talk’ to playing and reading together. Their purpose is to make parents understand the world of their newborn.

Newest in the UNICEF video hub are two masterclasses, one given by Dr. Jack Shonkoff, who is attached to the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. The other is given by Prof. Frank Oberklaid, Honorary Professor of Paediatrics at the University of Melbourne. Both videos offer brief, warm, and highly informative insights into how the baby brain works, and show what parents can easily do to stimulate brain development by play and positive interaction.
