Trust for Social Achievement

In the last two years, Trust for Social Achievement is implementing an advocacy project, aiming to improve infant and maternal health outcomes of Roma communities in Bulgaria. To achieve this goal, the project brings together the efforts of 12 organizations, advocating for changes on policies for ECD, with focus on the components of the nurturing care.

During this event, four policy areas of advocacy of the network, taking place for the next two years will be launched:

  • Access to prenatal care of uninsured pregnant women, living in poverty.
  • Access to adequate nutrition of vulnerable families with young children.
  • Access to services and/or programs  in support of parental skills, provision of responsive caregiving.
  • Access to ID and address registration of undocumented individuals with focus on women and children.

During the event, findings from a research on effective policy solutions, applied in EU and other countries with similar profile (legislative, institutional and financial) will be also introduced. The event will be conducted in Bulgarian, but translation in English will be ensured.

The event will be interesting for the representatives from national stakeholders (institutions, organizations) as the series of presentations will be on concrete ECD policy gaps for Bulgaria with impact on infant and maternal health outcomes of Roma communities.

The deadline for  registration is 4th of March. To register, send an email to dpopova@tsa-bulgaria.org
