Let us take you on a Magic Journey, as we gratefully acknowledge the roots and look ahead to new horizons. Once upon a time, more precisely, 21 years ago, 29 organizations implementing the Step by Step Program united and founded ISSA, building on a network which had already been active for 5 years at that time. This journey was made possible by the vision, the partnership, the strategic and financial support of the Early Childhood Program (ECP) at the Open Society Foundations, under the leadership of Sarah Klaus. We honor their tremendous contribution and successes by taking this journey forward!
We welcome all ISSA’s members and friends to join a special celebration of Step by Step and ECP, where memories about the past, reflections about the present, and aspirations for the future will be shared with pride, affection and immense respect for the solid foundations on which ISSA continues to grow.
