From Simulation to Scale: Tools for Effective Costing of Early Learning and ECD Programs

This webinar will provide an overview of the latest tools and resources that have been created to support evidence-based planning and advocacy for increased investments in ECE services, as well as strengthen planning, costing, and financing of this important sub-sector at national and sub-national levels. These tools/resources are: i) ECE Accelerator Simulation and Costing Model (UNICEF); ii) ILO Care policy Investment Simulator (ILO) and iii) Childhood Cost Calculator (Brookings). Each tool will be presented, and a deep-dive exploration of how and when the tool can be used will be shared.
