How can you deal with staff shortages?

For several years now, childcare and education in the Netherlands have been struggling with a staff shortage. This seminar will discuss possible causes of staff shortages from a scientific perspective and what possibilities there are to find, captivate and retain staff. The seminar will include a panel discussion with various childcare organisations in the Netherlands discussing practical policy measures they have implemented to ensure they attract and retain staff. The seminar will end with a practical example abroad to look at how staff shortages are dealt with there and what advice we could derive from this.
