Tales on the phone

For young children a phone line has been activated: they can call the line every day from Monday to Friday from 10.00 to 12.00 to listen to fairy tales in Italian and Romanes languages that have a Roma protagonist. The stories were taken from the book “Gipsy fairy tales” by Alberto Melis, and translated by 4 Roma, from Rome, Mazara del Vallo (Sicily), and Pisa (Tuscany).

In every baby aid package, we also put a flyer that presents this service to point out the importance of play and fantasy even in this phase of lockdown, and the opportunity of relationships beyond material help.

This resource can be used by all Roma children around the world but also by Italian children who can listen to funny stories that have a Roma protagonist.
