V International School-Seminar on Early Childhood Intervention for Children and Their Families: from Theory to Practice

The event is held in the Year of Science and will be aimed at discussing the theoretical foundations of early intervention and evidence-based early care programs for children with developmental disabilities and their families, as well as the experience of best practices of early care in different regions of the Russian Federation and in other countries of the world.

To be discussed during the event: 

  1. Informing the population and specialists (medicine, social services, educational institutions) about the tasks and methods of early aid for children and their families; the critical importance of the first 1000 days of a child's life and development;
  2. Issues of organization and management of the early aid service, standardization of early aid services,
  3. The development of interdisciplinary interaction and the problems of forming a «Team around the child»;
  4. Opportunities for the implementation of basic research within the framework of scientifically-based programs of early care and support for children with various developmental disorders, problems of inclusion (education, society);
  5. Using the ICF in building early-care programs;
  6. Features of early care for children with autism spectrum disorders and their families;
  7. Experience in providing early care services during the COVID-19 pandemic, development of a remote counseling system (specialists of various profiles, parents of children with developmental disabilities, volunteers);
