The recovery of education systems from COVID-19 is vital to the future social and economic health of societies. Based on their work during the pandemic, the OECD and Education International have jointly established ten principles which are intended to contribute to the debate about how education systems can recover and reach greater levels of quality and equity. These principles are intended to encourage a greater level of collaboration between education authorities and the teaching profession in achieving these goals, and to contribute to a framework for international co-operation and peer learning. Join a discussion about how these aims could be implemented.

Webinar participants will hear from:

- Andreas Schleicher, OECD Director for Education and Skills
- Susan Hopgood, President of Education International
- Anna Ekström, Minister of Education, Sweden
- Johanna Jaara Astrand, President of Lärarförbundet (the Swedish Teachers’ Union), Sweden

The webinar will be moderated by Tony Mackay, President of the National Centre on Education and the Economy in the United States.
