Mission

Foundation Educational and Social Center SOS Kindergarten (herwith QSE SOS Kindergarten) is a non-governmental organization that works on inclusion, support and education of children from all background no matter of their ethnicity, religion or abilities in an educational environment through a diverse programme, based on pedagogical standards, that prepares and supports skills and abilities for school and life.
QSE SOS Kindergarten started its work on September 16th, 2002, and since then has been offering preschool education and daily care for 125 children aged 3-6 years, as from 2002 around 850 children have benefited from our services, and 350 were vulnerable children, whereas as of December 2015 SOS kindergarten is registered as a local foundation established by SOS Children’s Villages Kosovo.
Foundation objectives:
 To provide services for daily care of children aged 3 – 6 years old
 To provide services for preschool education children aged 5 – 6 years old
 To promote and implement inclusive and social education
 To provide training services on awareness and support of the parents and community for inclusive education and social justice.
The mission of QSE SOS KG is to involve, support and educate children in an educational environment through a diverse program, based on pedagogical standards, which prepares and forms abilities and skills for school and life. Promoting social inclusion, to act in the best interests of children with special needs and the promotion of inclusive education.
The mission of educational work of QSE SOS KG is aligned in the principles of social justice to support and help children coming from marginalized and vulnerable groups by giving the opportunity: to have free of charge access to preschool education for all children who live in SOS Children’s Village’s in Kosovo, children in need, children with special needs and children of single parents, and to advocate on increasing the number of marginalized children that will benefit from preschool education service.
