The call for papers for the international DECET conference in collaboration with Newman University has been released. The conference will take place in Birmingham, UK, from Wednesday, 3rd to Friday 5th June, 2015.

  • Together with the Bernard van Leer Foundation and JES Rijnland, ISSA hosted a roundtable within the Children’s Rights Summit organized by UNICEF on November 20, 2014 in Leiden.
  • Two more members – an organisation from Australia and an international organisation – have just joined the network, contributing to expanding ISSA’s presence in Europe and worldwide.
  • The event marks the 15th anniversary of the International Step by Step Association
  • Today throughout the world we celebrate Teachers’ Day and we honor those who make a change in the lives of children.
  • Throughout 2013, more than 30.000 teachers from Europe and Central Asia have benefited from trainings organized by ISSA members.
  • From today until Friday, more than 35 participants from all over the world will meet in the Child Rights Home, in Leiden to discuss quality in early childhood environments.
