The Belarusian Parents’ and Teachers’ League “Krok za Krokam” and the Open Society Institute Assistance Foundation (Tajikistan) organized a seminar-training “Let’s Say YES Together to Our Children” between May 30th and June 1st 2017. The event was attended by preschool educators, official government representatives and teachers from a pedagogical high school. The participants discussed issues such as the Belarusian preschool education system and the services for children with special needs.

People from different cultures and with different education systems shared common aspirations and aims through peer-learning. The participants gained more knowledge on education and child-focused techniques and the inclusion of parents in the educational process.

Staff members Elena Krasovskaja and Victoria Drobyshevsky from Kindergarten Pinsk Day Nursery-garden № 10 shared information and good practice. As part of the parental support offered, the kindergarten gives courses to parents of children with special needs.
