The Moving Minds Alliance Nurturing Futures Webinar Series consist of five bimonthly episodes, each lasting an hour. This comprehensive series aims to brings together diverse voices to discuss, reflect and arrive at change-focused actions to promote equitable and dignified access to holistic nurturing care for young children in crisis. In this debut episode, the discussion will focus on “Optimising Evidence Uptake and Collaborative Advocacy for Early Childhood Development in Crisis Settings” and will feature ISSA's Liana Ghent. 

This event will launch Make Mothers Matter's State of Motherhood in Europe 2024 Survey Results. The survey amplifies the voices of 9,600 mothers across 12 European countries, shedding light on the challenges they face—from maternal mental health and childcare to work-life balance and the role of fathers. The results expose the hidden injustices that continue to reinforce gender, economic, and social inequalities, calling for urgent policy and societal change.
 

Professionals working with young children and families today face increasing challenges due to ongoing crises such as wars, natural disasters, climate change, and pandemics. Even in times of peace, they are to support young children and parents who have experienced trauma in their home environments or who face exclusion due to poverty, disability, or belonging to marginalized communities.
