Amazon, ISSA, and Save the Children partner to distribute story books in Ukrainian

In partnership with Save the Children and Amazon, the International Step by Step Association will distribute 195,000 copies of three children’s story books in Ukrainian, from ISSA’s Reading Corner series.

As part of ISSA's Ukraine Response, the Secretariat held two Training of Trainers (ToT) online events for trainers and resource persons from ISSA Member organizations in Ukraine, Poland, Romania Moldova, Bulgaria, and Slovakia.

Parenting on the Move: empowering parents to best support their children through migration and refugeehood



Parenting on the Move (PoM) has been developed to help parents create an environment of resilience, well-being, and education for kindergarten and school age children during situations of migration and refugeehood.

Compendium of inspiring practices on migrant and refugee children in Europe

Zorica Trikic, ISSA's Senior Programme Manager attended the presentation of the report called Let Children be Children: Lessons from the Field on the Protection and Integration of Refugee and Migrant Children in Europe which was launched on December 4th, 2017. This new report, produced by Eurochild and SOS Children’s Villages, offers 16 inspiring practices that showcases how the child protection services are responding to the needs of refugee and migrant children in Europe.
