SPYNKA centers support 10,000 Ukrainian children and families in Poland
Through the SPYNKA program, ISSA Member, Comenius Foundation for Child Development is supporting refugee children and caregivers from Ukraine with high quality, trauma informed early childhood education and care.
Thanks to the psychological first aid foundational training developed by ISSA, War Child and Amna, ISSA has provided capacity building to ISSA members on the ground in eight countries.

Amazon, ISSA, and Save the Children partner to distribute story books in Ukrainian
In partnership with Save the Children and Amazon, the International Step by Step Association will distribute 195,000 copies of three children’s story books in Ukrainian, from ISSA’s Reading Corner series.
Non-formal education for refugee children in Moldova
The Step by Step Educational Program in Moldova is working to extend access for Ukrainian refugee children and families to non-formal education programs, as well as training teachers to respond to the crisis.

Comenius Foundation for Child Development Shares a Method for Scaling-Up with the ISSA Network
Established in 2003 by a group of psychologists, pedagogues and community workers, ISSA Member Comenius Foundation for Child Development (Comenius Foundation) inspires adults to create environments in which all young children can develop, explore
