Biological and Social Foundations of Inclusion Center
One of the main objectives of the Centre is to improve the scientific, educational and practical collaboration between academic researchers and educational, medical and social institutions involved in providing assistance and accompanied by children and adults with special needs. The Centre's activities include:
- scientific and practical work in research, educational, medical and social institutions;
- organization of training courses and workshops in areas: early childhood education and care, early childhood intervention, problems of communication development (verbal, additional, alternative); conditions of educational success; well-being for people with special needs; interaction with the community (family, parent's associations, professionals), coverage in the mass media;
- development, support and implementation of evidence-based programs support people with special needs;
- creating of open "bank of knowledge" for the main directions of the Centre.
The Centre's work is based on the inter-agency (in Russia) and international cooperation for implementation of joint research, educational and practical projects; organization scientific and practical activities in the different formats: seminars, conferences, workshops, master classes, and webinars; publication of scientific and educational materials.
